The owner of Divine Counseling Service, LLC is Crystal Jeffrey. She has a passion to assist individuals that suffer from substance use, behavioral, family problems, and mental disorders. Finishing Jones High School at age 16 and growing up in the South Park community Crystal saw a desperate need to become a counselor; drugs affected her family and neighborhood. Crystal has been counseling since 2008 and established this company in 2018.
Ms. Jeffrey attended Houston Community College obtaining a Associate in Human Services with focus in mental health, & certificate in Chemical Dependency counseling. She then attended University of Houston Downtown obtaining a Bachelors of Applied Arts & Sciences in Criminal Justice. Crystal decided to continue her education at Prairie View A&M University completing the Masters program, majoring in Counseling. In 2021 Crystal became an Internationally credentialed Substance Abuse Professional & Certified TX DOT SAP provider to service commercial driver license holders with substance abuse issues.
Divine Counseling Service Facility is licensed by the state DSHS. Crystal has experience working with parole, probation, self-referred, & Child Protective Service clientele. Crystal has worked & or volunteered at Harris County Juvenile Justice Center, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, The Covenant House Texas, Texana Crisis Center, Outpatient Rehabilitation Centers, Therapeutic Communities, & Medication Assisted Therapy programs. Crystal continues to be a positive influence in the community, her church, & her family.
